Food and confectionery factory management software
A recipe is written for a full run with flour, sugar, fat and boxes. The production order uses the oldest batches, gives the product a run number and expiry date, and works out the cost per box.

Short shelf life
Each run enters stock with a batch number and expiry date, sales take the oldest first, and products near expiry show in the alerts.
Waste and packaging left out of the cost
Each component has a waste rate, and boxes and cartons are recipe components, so the cost per box includes everything actually used.
Ingredient prices change every month
Materials are issued at their batches' actual cost, so each run reflects this month's prices and you price on a real figure.
Example: a run of 500 boxes of chocolate biscuits
The figures follow exactly how the system calculates.
- The recipe for 500 boxes: 60 kg flour at EGP 22, 20 kg sugar at EGP 30, 15 kg fat at EGP 95, 4 kg cocoa at EGP 280, and 500 boxes at EGP 3 with 2% waste.
- Materials: 1,320 + 600 + 1,425 + 1,120 + 1,530 for boxes (510 issued) = EGP 5,995, plus EGP 805 of labour and overhead on the recipe.
- The run is recorded at EGP 6,800, EGP 13.60 a box, and enters stock as batch MO-order number with a 6-month expiry.
- When you sell to distributors, boxes are issued from the oldest run.

Frequently asked questions
Can one dough make several products?
Yes. The dough is a semi-finished item with its own recipe, and each product draws on it by the kilo.
What if flour runs short?
The material check shows the shortfall before the order, and the order isn't recorded while anything is short.
How is expiry set?
You enter the run's expiry date on the production order.
