Stationery shop management software
A pen sells on its own, a box by the dozen and paper by the ream, and stock stays right in every case. Copying and wrapping go on the same invoice as services with no stock.

Piece, box and ream
An item has a base unit (the pen) and larger units (a box of 12), each with its own price and barcode. Selling a box takes 12 pens from the same balance.
The back-to-school rush
Barcode checkout, parked sales while a parent fetches the rest of the list, and shifts closed with over and short.
Copying and wrapping have no stock
Services are items without stock at their own price, added to the same invoice, with their revenue in the profit report.
Example: a pupil's list and a school quote
The figures follow exactly how the system calculates.
- A blue ballpoint pen sells at EGP 5 and a box of 12 at EGP 50. A ream of A4 is EGP 260, a notebook EGP 35, copying EGP 1 a page and binding EGP 25.
- A parent takes 2 boxes of pens, 3 reams, a notebook, 40 copies and a binding: 100 + 780 + 35 + 40 + 25 = EGP 980. Stock falls by 24 pens, 3 reams and a notebook; copying and binding take nothing.
- A school asks for 20 reams and 10 boxes of pens. The quote comes to EGP 5,700, and once accepted it becomes an invoice without retyping.
- At season end the profit report shows what each item and the copying service earned.

Frequently asked questions
Can I sell one pen from an opened box?
Yes. The pen is the base unit, so an opened box stays in stock as pens.
Colour and black-and-white copies at different prices?
Yes, each kind of service is its own item with its own price.
The school pays at month end?
Record it as a credit customer; invoices go on its statement until collected.
