Perfume and cosmetics shop management software

Perfume oil is held in millilitres, and every blend has a recipe: how much oil, how much alcohol and which bottle. When a bottle sells, its ingredients leave stock and its real profit shows.

Oil is sold by the millilitre

A perfume oil is an item with fractions in millilitres or grams, so you know each oil's balance even when you sell 3 ml.

Blend profit is a guess

A blend is a sale recipe: oil, alcohol and bottle in set amounts. Selling it uses them up at average cost, so the profit report shows what each bottle really earns.

Cosmetics expire

Creams and cosmetics come in with a batch number and expiry date, sales take the earliest expiry first, and items close to expiry show in the alerts.

Example: a 50 ml blend

The figures follow exactly how the system calculates.

  1. The "50 ml blend" recipe: 15 ml of perfume oil at EGP 6 per ml, 35 ml of alcohol at EGP 0.40 per ml, and a 50 ml bottle at EGP 18.
  2. The bottle costs 90 + 14 + 18 = EGP 122 and sells at EGP 280, a profit of EGP 158.
  3. Three bottles sell: stock falls by 45 ml of oil, 105 ml of alcohol and 3 empty bottles.
  4. If the next oil delivery costs more, its average cost changes and the blend cost in the report follows.

The modules behind it

How to get started

  1. Sign up with "General trading" and switch on manufacturing, batches and expiry from the modules page.

  2. Add oils and alcohol in millilitres and bottles by the piece.

  3. Create each blend as an item with a sale recipe and start selling.

Worth knowing before you subscribe

  • The system doesn't suggest perfume formulas; you enter the amounts.
  • There is no loyalty points programme.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell loose oil by the millilitre?

Yes. The oil allows fractions, so you sell any amount at the per-ml price.

What if the customer wants another size?

Each size is its own blend item with its own recipe: 30, 50 and 100 ml.

What does a return do to the ingredients?

It puts the oil, alcohol and bottle back at the cost they were taken out at.
